Obernberg and Reichersberg The Market Square of the Upper Austrian commune of Obernberg is considered one of Austria’s most beautiful. The decorations on some of the Rococo façades that were done by Obernberg stucco worker Modler are remarkable. A Museum of Traditions (Heimatmuseum) is housed in the Gurtentor. You shouldn’t miss a tour of the Augustine Canon Monastery in nearby Reichersberg, either. Especially impressive are the monastery church, library, Schwanthalermuseum and marble fountain.
